The WCCS is going to the HARROGATE CRIME WRITERS FESTIVAL!

YES! ITS TRUE! Finally lockdown is lifting here in the UK and if you have been following the show then you know we have big plans. We want to take this show from strength to strength. Not once have we settled with what we have and we would openly accept advice and recommendations from any of you! One of our plans was to create a YouTube channel that gives awesome insights into events and services to do with writing and reading. We plan on vlogging in our hilariously armature way. This, if done right, should leave you with some funny episodes that give you actual insight into an event or service. Resulting in you being able to make a decision about them before travelling or spending out. And more importantly you will be finding out from us, not some PR person that is pushing the event! You will have the Chris & Chris insight.

So, the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival is happening during the

22nd-25th of July 2021 at the Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate. We are super excited to say that we have indeed booked our hotels and our leave from our day jobs in order to be there. Tickets for the actual event have yet to go on sale. If we miss out on tickets then we will still be able to catch up with some of our pervious guests and other authors in the pub! As much fun as that sounds I'm sure we will certainly be in the event itself.
