This Friday, The Writing Community Chat Show welcomes a special guest whose journey to writing is nothing short of extraordinary: Steven Aitchison. Once a renowned teacher of social media growth and cryptocurrency investing, Steven has transitioned into a world of magic, mystery, and fiction with his popular series, The Witches of Scotland.

The Path to Fiction

Steven’s story begins in Wester Hailes, Edinburgh, where his childhood dreams led him to study Psychology in Glasgow. Over the years, he carved out a successful career mentoring internet entrepreneurs and cryptocurrency investors. Yet, deep down, the call of storytelling never left him. It wasn’t until retirement that Steven fully embraced his creative side, crafting gripping tales that blend Scotland’s rich history with supernatural intrigue.

The Witches of Scotland

His debut serial fiction, The Witches of Scotland: The Dream Dancers: Akashic Chronicles, has captivated readers with its immersive world-building and complex characters. The series follows a group of witches navigating Scotland’s mystical undercurrents, a theme he expands upon in his second series, The Edinburgh Files, where the same characters confront supernatural threats in the nation’s capital.

Balancing Life and Writing

Despite his busy schedule, Steven prioritizes connecting with his readers, setting aside time daily to answer emails and messages. Living in Glasgow’s West End with his wife, he finds joy in family life, cherishing moments with his two sons, their partners, and two grandchildren.
